SecurityMEA speaks with Costa Boukouvalas, CEO, AgilityGrid about their participation at Intersec 2018.
How long have you been participating in Intersec and what motivated your organization to return this year?
We have been participating here for over seven years. Intersec is the perfect platform for us to reconnect with our partners, customers and peers in the industry. It also allows us to keep abreast of new technologies and partner with the right companies to ensure we meet the growing security needs of the region. Intersec is significant for us since physical security and its management solutions are our core business.
Are you participating directly or with any of your partners?
We are participating jointly with Intransa Systems and also have a number of Intransa technology partners and key vendors on the stand.
What do expect to achieve with this participation?
We are very pleased to be back at Intersec this year to showcase our constantly improving video and IP CCTV security solutions that are customized to meet the security and technology regulations put in place by our regional governments to safeguard the cities and business interests. Security continues to be a focal point and at a time when video is growing in importance as are video analytics to enable smart cities. We look forward to some very meaningful discussions to help our existing and some potential customers meet their security needs.
Which products or announcements will the focal point for AgilityGrid at the event this year? Please share the details.
Intransa, a new partnership signed with AgilityGrid in 2017, will dominate AgilityGrid’s stand with its wide range of enterprise-grade storage, servers, switches and workstations all optimized for video surveillance and delivering very high performance. There will be live demonstrations of its capabilities including simulation with Doo software, with over 500 HD cameras, video analytics and Video Management Systems (VMS).
As experts in providing sophisticated CCTV security solutions, AgilityGrid will be bringing together hardware and software partners to highlight fully integrated solutions combining best-of-breed technology to cater to the expanding security needs of both public and private sectors across the region.
