Shahnawaz Sheikh, VP of Global Sales & Alliances (Cybersecurity Practice) at Amiseq, explains that the company is accelerating its global growth by focusing on the Middle East, launching Z-Deploy, expanding AI-driven cybersecurity services, and targeting regulated sectors with localised, scalable, and automation-first solutions.
What’s the vision behind Amiseq’s global expansion strategy, and which regions are showing the highest potential?
Amiseq is driven by a vision to be a global services company, with physical offices established across key cities in North America, the Middle East, and India. Over time, we have developed the capability to deliver services in regions where we don’t yet have a physical presence—such as Europe, Africa, and Australia—thanks to strong vendor relationships and a trusted delivery model. Expanding into these markets with physical offices is part of our short- to mid-term strategy. Among all regions, the Middle East, North America, and Europe are showing the highest potential and continue to be central to Amiseq’s global growth roadmap.
How significant is the Middle East in your overall growth roadmap, and what makes it a strategic market for Amiseq?
The Middle East is one of Amiseq’s busiest and most strategic markets, driven by our strong on-ground presence across multiple countries and our proximity to customers. We’ve successfully delivered hundreds of deployments across key sectors such as BFSI, Government, Defence, Oil & Gas, and Healthcare, demonstrating both the region’s demand and our capabilities. The scale and success of these engagements have generated valuable testimonials and strengthened our credibility, fueling further growth and investment. This momentum continues to attract new partnerships and opportunities, reinforcing our commitment to the region and raising expectations for continued excellence in service delivery.
What cybersecurity challenges specific to the Middle East are you addressing with your current and upcoming solutions?
We currently offer end-to-end consulting and deployment services across Cybersecurity, Networking, Intelligent Automation, and OT Security. In addition, we provide product-agnostic services, including health checks, gap analysis, VAPT, SOC setup, and framework-based assessments and audits. With strong in-house capabilities across these domains, we continuously expand our portfolio to include emerging areas such as AI Security, Observability, Cloud Services, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)—ensuring our clients stay ahead in an evolving threat landscape.
Can you elaborate on the types of organisations or sectors you’re targeting as you scale operations in the region?
Our services cater to organisations of all sizes—from small and medium businesses to large and distributed enterprises. We support diverse functions across IT and OT, Applications and Automation, as well as HR, Compliance, and FinOps teams. Our solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of various sectors, including BFSI, Government, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, Regulatory Bodies, and Large Enterprises, ensuring broad relevance and impact across industries.
Have you formed any local partnerships or alliances to strengthen your market entry or presence in the Middle East?
With years of on-ground presence and proximity to major Middle Eastern markets, Amiseq has built strong, rapidly growing partnerships across the region. These collaborations continue to expand in both geographic reach and resource capacity, enabling them to meet the rising business demand. Backed by a proven track record of successful project delivery and trusted by vendors and customers alike, we actively pursue new alliances and tailor our go-to-market (GTM) strategies to align with each partnership’s unique needs. Our partnerships span various scopes, ranging from Middle East-only engagements to broader agreements covering the Middle East and Africa, North America, or even global contracts.
What are some of the key differentiators of Amiseq’s cybersecurity offerings that distinguish you in a competitive market?
Amiseq stays ahead by consistently delivering unique value through proprietary accelerators and IPs, backed by a strong commitment to quality and excellence. With services embedded in our DNA, we continually innovate to drive speed, agility, accuracy, and accountability for our customers. A key differentiator is our dedicated Test Lab, used for integration and interoperability testing across a wide range of technology NFRs. We’ve also developed an automated deployment tool and custom problem-solving scripts through our in-house software engineering team. These innovations, combined with our in-depth domain expertise, enable us to deliver a truly differentiated experience, fostering strong partnerships and achieving measurable outcomes for both customers and vendors.
Can you tell us about Z-Deploy and how it’s transforming the way services are delivered in the age of AI and automation?
Based on our long serving experience of delivering product deployment to numerous customers and with the advent of AI and Automation, we believe the conventional way of delivering services will become obsolete soon, to stay ahead of the curve, we have created an entirely new platform, tool Z-Deploy that will accelerate deployment from days to minutes, is a breakthrough in the services industry that could disrupt the way we have been delivering services today. Z-Deploy enhances productivity, reduces time to operationalise, and ensures error-free and quality consistency, whether it is one, hundreds, or thousands of deployments.
How do you balance global innovation with local compliance and threat intelligence needs in markets like the Middle East?
We have successfully delivered numerous projects in collaboration with global and regional vendors. As a trusted services partner, we stay closely aligned with our customers’ use cases and business needs, ensuring we are well-versed in global, regional, and local regulatory frameworks and controls. This enables us to assist clients in adhering to the specific regulatory requirements of each country within the region. Additionally, we recommend proactively integrating local, regional, or industry-specific threat intelligence feeds and data lakes to enhance security posture and ensure ongoing compliance. Our approach combines deep regulatory awareness with practical security measures to deliver comprehensive, localised protection.
What role does AI or automation play in your roadmap?
With our automation platform, Z-Deploy, we’ve created a solution that delivers deployment automation with speed, accuracy, and consistency. We are now enhancing its capabilities by integrating AI-driven features. As customer data evolves into structured and large language models (SLMs and LLMs), we leverage these data lakes to build advanced AI functionalities. This includes intuitive dashboards for real-time deployment analytics, insights into capacity planning and redundancy, root cause detection, and automated remediation playbooks. These enhancements are designed to empower customers with deeper visibility, faster decision-making, and intelligent operations across large-scale deployments.
