Cohesity and HCLTech Launches New Managed Clean Room Capability

Cohesity today announced the launch of a new managed clean room capability within HCLTech VaultNXT offering. Recoverability after a cyberattack is a necessity for every organization worldwide, and a governed, documented, and repeatable model for forensic investigation, compliance support, and validated recovery is business critical.

HCLTech VaultNXT answers these requirements with policy-driven cyber vaulting, immutable clean recovery copies, governed access, and audit-ready processes specifically addressing DORA, NIS2, and other resilience and regulatory requirements. This latest enhancement integrating the Cohesity Clean Room solution and AI-powered data security capabilities into the VaultNXT framework delivers a fully managed, isolated recovery environment with secure investigation, containment, validation, and recovery capabilities.

“Cyber recovery strategies need to go beyond restoring data to include investigation, validation, and trusted recovery,” said Kit Beall, Chief Revenue Officer at Cohesity. “With VaultNXT’s proven framework, Cohesity and HCLTech are bringing together market-leading managed clean room services and AI-powered data security to help our customers recover trusted data faster, support compliance requirements, reduce risk, and operate with greater confidence.”

With automated workflows, rapid recovery, and strong security controls, customers can improve recovery speed and support the continued operation of the business after an incident. HCLTech VaultNXT provides an end-to-end, consulting-led cyber resilience framework designed to assess, build, and operate enterprise-grade ransomware recovery solutions.

Johnny Karam, Managing Director and Vice President, International Emerging Markets at Cohesity, said: “Cyber resilience is no longer just about protecting data or restoring systems after an incident. Organisations need to know that they can investigate what happened, validate their data, and recover with confidence while maintaining compliance and business continuity. By bringing Cohesity’s AI-powered data security and Clean Room capabilities together with HCLTech’s managed services and cyber resilience expertise, we are giving organisations a more comprehensive and repeatable approach to recovery. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to helping customers reduce risk, recover faster, and build greater resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.”

“VaultNXT reflects the strength of the HCLTech and Cohesity partnership in helping organizations turn data protection into a strategic cyber resilience asset in the AI era,” said Rampal Singh, Senior Vice President, Hybrid Cloud Business Unit at HCLTech.  “By combining HCLTech’s global scale and cyber resilience expertise with Cohesity’s AI-powered data security and recovery, we help customers reduce downtime, stay compliant and operational, and respond faster to evolving cyber threats due to the expanding AI landscape.”
