Zscaler Drives Cybersecurity with AI and Zero Trust Innovations

Remi Vacher, Sales Engineering Manager at Zscaler for the Middle East and Africa, shared insights into the company’s rapid transformation over the past five years. From a three-member team to a 35+ strong regional force, Zscaler has expanded its infrastructure, regional presence, and market influence across MEA.

Vacher explained how Zscaler’s technology has evolved from secure user connectivity to a comprehensive Zero Trust Exchange platform that secures any-to-any connections — linking users, devices, and applications across cloud environments. AI now plays a critical role in the company’s offering, enabling real-time data analysis, cross-correlation of security signals, and operational efficiency. Zscaler’s GenAI dashboards provide visibility into public and private AI usage, helping organizations secure both external and internal AI models.

Discussing industry challenges, Vacher acknowledged the cybersecurity talent gap but believes AI will assist in bridging skill shortages by augmenting human capabilities. He emphasized that innovation remains Zscaler’s core differentiator — from being a Zero Trust pioneer to launching Zscaler Cellular, a solution that secures IoT and OT devices via SIM-based connectivity even in remote locations.

He urged customers to look beyond marketing claims and evaluate Zero Trust solutions based on technical depth and architecture. “Zscaler’s Zero Trust connectivity ensures no exposure to the outside world, offering true least-privilege access and end-to-end security,” he concluded.
