Microsoft Reveals its Vision for Responsible AI and Cybersecurity

Imane El Majdoubi, Enterprise Commercial Director at Microsoft UAE said Gitex is a pivotal moment for us in the tech industry, and today, we have 36 partners showcasing our latest AI innovations. This year, we’re highlighting how AI can transform industries and reshape economies globally. At Microsoft, our mission is to empower every individual and organization to achieve more, and we remain committed to making AI accessible, harnessing its potential to enhance human ingenuity.

As cybersecurity threats escalate, we recognize that malicious actors are increasingly using AI to amplify their attacks. Microsoft has established a responsible AI framework to ensure ethical usage of AI technologies. We’re also launching new products, such as Microsoft Copilot Security, which help security professionals swiftly detect and respond to threats.

Additionally, we’ve recently opened an engineering development center in Abu Dhabi, focused on developing best practices for security. Our goal is to integrate security into product design and development cycles, ensuring safe environments for our customers.

We’re proud to empower the UAE not only as consumers but as creators of AI technology that can be exported globally, collaborating on initiatives to tackle pressing challenges like climate change through our AI for Good center.
