What to expect from GISEC 2023

Representatives of cyber security companies tell us us about their participation in the the GISEC 2023, as well as the offerings that will be presented by them at the GISEC 2023. These offerings will stand us in good stead in advancing the cyber security industry and protecting organizations from cyberattacks.

We are less than a week away from the start of the GISEC 2023, which will take place between March 14 and 16 in Dubai.

The GISEC is one of the most anticipated cyber security events in the Middle East and Africa, attracting thousands of industry professionals, business leaders and change makers. As is the case every year, the GISEC in this year’s edition will continue to hog the limelight among  brightest minds in information security, corporate leaders, key decision-makers from government sector, global solution providers, distributors and major buyers of cyber security solutions who will assemble in Dubai on March 14, 15 and 16.

This year’s GISEC features a wealth of content and networking opportunities, offering opportunities for networking with industry experts and gaining insights on the best practices in cyber security.

One of the largest cybersecurity events in the Middle East, the GISEC brings together thousands of stakeholders for three days to find out what’s new in the cyber security sector which is poised to expand tremendously in the coming years.

Alain Penel – Regional VP – ME & Turkey, Fortinet

Digital transformation has become one of the top priorities for organizations and this vision cannot be achieved without robust cybersecurity infrastructure in place.

“As has been the case for many years, GISEC is a key platform for industry leaders to meet and discuss cyber security challenges as we face an increasing number of cyber attacks and see the nature of threats changing due to digital transformation, says Alain Penel – Regional VP – ME & Turkey, Fortinet.

With industry’s broadest portfolio of cyber security solutions with over 50 security-related products, Fortinet has recently announced new security operations center (SOC) augmentation services designed to help strengthen organizations’ cyber resiliency and support short-staffed teams strained by the talent shortage.

Launched in 2012, GISEC Dubai is an absolute must-attend event for industry professionals. The reason why GISEC is a must attend cyber security event is not far to seek. Over the years it has succeeded in building a strong relationship with the global tech and infosec professionals, CISOs, corporate leaders, change-makers and different stakeholders in cyber security space.

“Being part of this event allows Check Point Software to connect with potential customers, partners and industry leaders,” says Ram Narayanan, Country Manager at Check Point Software Technologies, Middle East.

Mohammad Ismail, Regional Director – Middle East, Delinea

Sharing the same sentiments, Mohammad Ismail, Regional Director – Middle East, Delinea, says “Delinea has consistently participated at key trade shows in the region including GISEC and GITEX last year, and the most recent edition of LEAP. These events have been pivotal in enabling us to get our core message out to businesses in the region: that privileged access should be more accessible, and the opposite of complex isn’t simple, it’s seamless.”

He adds, “At GISEC, we are keen to engage with potential partners and customers,”

In an event like the GISEC, Fortinet can ill-afford to miss.  Fortinet’s Alain Penel says, “As an industry leader in cybersecurity, for more than 20 years, it was an obvious choice for Fortinet to participate in this major event. We will be present on stand A90 (Exclusive Networks).”

Several vendors, solution providers and distributors will be touting their products and services at GISEC.

Leading cyber security solutions provider Check Point Software is all set to showcase its expertise and solutions at GISEC 2023. Ram Narayanan says, “This year, Check Point Software will be exhibiting its four main pillars – Check Point CloudGuard, Check Point Harmony, Check Point Quantum and Check Point Horizon.”

Alain Penel says “Thanks to a dedicated pod on the booth, visitors will be able to discover our latest solutions from the Fortinet Security Fabric, the platform at the heart of the Fortinet security strategy. The Fortinet Security Fabric brings together the concepts of convergence and consolidation to provide comprehensive cybersecurity protection for all users, devices, and applications and across all network edges.”

For visitors to the Fortinet’s booth on stand A90 where the cybersecurity company will be present with its partner Exclusive Networks, Zero Trust Access, Secure Networking, Cloud Security and Security Operation solutions, among others, will all be available for on-demand demonstrations.

Delinea, which recently unveiled its new brand identity at LEAP last year, provides powerful, customisable, and scalable security solutions that are invisible to the end user. Delinea’s Mohammad Ismail says, “On the 14th of March, coinciding with the first day of GISEC, Delinea will unveil new PAM innovation for authorizing all identities across the modern threat landscape.”

Delinea whose 100% business in the Middle East is transacted through the channel will co-participate at GISEC together with its regional value-added distributor, Shifra.

“We are excited to identify partners that want to grow their business by developing expertise around PAM and our portfolio, enabling them to translate the full potential of our solutions to end customers” says Mohammad Ismail of Delinea, privileged access management (PAM) solutions provider for seamless security,
