Mohammad Ismail, Regional Director – Middle East, Delinea, speaks about Delinea’s participation in GITEX and how their PAM solutions offer a seamless solution to thwart attacks.
What are the plans for you to be part of GITEX GLOBAL this year and why is it important for you to be part of the week-long show?
GITEX this year will be especially relevant to us as it will be the first edition of the show where we will participate under our new brand identity which was unveiled earlier this year following the successful merger of established Privileged Access Management (PAM) leaders Thycotic and Centrify. We are excited to have the opportunity to introduce prospects, customers, and partners to Delinea. It will also be the first time that I will attending a trade show since joining Delinea as Regional Director in August this year.
Please highlight the products and solutions that you will be showcasing at the GITEX
Delinea is a leading provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions that make security seamless for the modern, hybrid enterprise. At GITEX, we will showcase our portfolio of solutions that empower organisations to secure critical data, devices, code, and cloud infrastructure to help reduce risk, ensure compliance, and simplify security. We offer a comprehensive and modern PAM solution portfolio that not only provides the right users just-in-time and just enough access to critical data, servers, and applications but also provides end-to-end monitoring and reporting to identify abuse of privilege and quickly thwart attacks.
How does your offerings enable organisations to enhance their cybersecurity preparedness in the new normal?
Businesses today are challenged by increasingly complex IT environments exacerbated by threats that are increasing in both volume and sophistication. Legacy PAM solutions are not designed for these hybrid environments, are too complex, and cannot solve modern privilege management challenges.
With 61% (or more) breaches attributed to compromised credentials, GITEX attendees will be looking to solve the challenges they face around securing identities in an increasingly hybrid world. Delinea addresses these requirements with PAM solutions that deliver seamless security by helping delineate the boundaries of access, so users get the access they want while IT gets the control it needs.
What message would you like to give to the customers visiting the show and why should they meet you?
As organisations continue their digital transformations, they are faced with increasingly sophisticated environments and more challenging requirements for securing an expanded threatscape. Legacy PAM solutions are not designed for today’s hybrid environments, are too complex, and cannot solve current privilege management challenges.
Our core message to attendees at GITEX is that the opposite of complex isn’t simple – it’s seamless. Our mission is to provide security that’s invisible to the user, while simultaneously providing IT and security teams with the control they require.
What are your expectation from this year’s GITEX?
Our intention is to welcome visitors to our stand so they can have the opportunity to experience how our solutions empower organisations to secure critical data, devices, code, and cloud infrastructure to help reduce risk, ensure compliance, and simplify security.
We are keen to inform attendees about how our comprehensive and modern PAM solution portfolio not only provides the right users just-in-time and just enough access to critical data, servers, and applications but also provides end-to-end monitoring and reporting to identify abuse of privilege and quickly thwart attacks.
Through our engagements at the event, we want to emphasise that whether in the cloud or on-premises, Delinea provides powerful, customizable, and scalable solutions to secure organizations of any size or in any industry, no matter their PAM maturity.
Where can we find you at GITEX? (booth no and hall no)
We will be present in Hall 2 at stand B-25 and look forward to welcoming our customers, partners and prospects there.
