Credence Security, a leading, regional, specialized value-added distributor for cybersecurity, forensics, governance, risk and compliance solutions, announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with D3 Security, a leader in security orchestration, automation and incident response.
Under the agreement, Credence Security will be responsible for promoting and delivering D3 Security’s XGEN SOAR platform across its robust channel network in the Middle East and India region. With D3 Security’s next-generation SOAR features and partner-centric go-to-market model, distributors play a crucial role in driving growth and supporting enterprises, MSSPs, and MDR providers across the region.
A 2020 study by the Ponemon Institute and IBM Security, revealed that the average cost of a data breach per company in the Middle East is $6.53 million, which is higher than the global average of $3.86 million per incident. The prevalence of security automation has exploded in recent years, a trend that appears to have been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, as companies adapt to remote workforces and a growing attack surface. A recent SANS survey found a 24.9% year-over-year increase in the number of organizations with a high amount of security automation. D3 is uniquely positioned to help solve the challenges that are leading so many companies to acquire automation tools. As the leading independent SOAR vendor, D3 integrates with virtually any security tool, bringing automation to the entire stack, enabling the use of best-of-breed solutions, and maximizing the value of existing security investments.
“In a market full of complex products that require expert coders to run and maintain them, XGEN SOAR is designed for ease of use, with intuitive configuration, testing, and operation,” said Stephen Cunningham, Executive Director of Channel Partnerships at D3 Security. “Its codeless playbooks allow users to seamlessly drag and drop complex automated sequences and product integrations into workflows.”
“Recent moves in the industry have left D3 standing as one of the only truly independent SOAR platforms,” said Garreth Scott, Managing Director, Credence Security. “It has also disrupted the market with built-in MITRE ATT&CK TTP automation, enabling SOC operators to see a complete picture beyond the individual stages of an attack. Our consistent efforts to focus on providing our partners and their customers with leading technologies in the region will only be strengthened by this partnership.”
In line with its strategy to make a strong debut in the Middle East, D3 Security is also excited to announce its participation in the biggest information security show in the region @Hack, which will be held from 28th to 30th of November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Exhibiting as part of Credence Security’s stand, D3 Security will demonstrate its innovative and feature-rich XGEN SOAR platform. Visit them at @Hack at stand J10 at the Riyadh Front Expo Centre.
