Kaspersky will showcase first-hand demonstrations of its Kaspersky operating system dubbed, KasperskyOS at GITEX that is a specialised operating system designed for embedded systems with strict cybersecurity requirements.
Amir Kanaan, Managing Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, said “During our time at the event, we look forward to meeting and collaborating with hardware manufacturers who might be open to developing the KasperskyOS for their own products.”
This is the 10th year of participation at GITEX Technology Week for Kaspersky and the company will focus on its B2B enterprise solution range, highlighting its flagship product – Kaspersky Threat Management and Defense.
The company will also showcase its threat intelligence services that deliver in-depth visibility into cyberthreats targeting organisations.
“According to our recent Incident Response (IR) report findings, we’ve seen 34% organisations exhibit signs of an advanced targeted attack. Moreover, 54.2% of financial organisations were found to be attacked by an advanced persistent threat (APT) group or groups,” said Kanaan.
“These results show us that it is vital for organisations to react to these attacks quickly and not after they start to see the signs of damage. The earlier the attack is dealt with, the fewer the consequences.”
Members of Kaspersky’s Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT) will be present at the event. These security professionals will be at the stand ready to meet possible customers and provide them with their expertise on all things cybersecurity.
Kaspersky will also be unveiling a new product that helps companies developing Blockchain solutions to become cyberimmune.
Kaspersky can be found in Sheikh Rashid Hall at #SR-C1.
