Kaspersky joined hands with Redington

Kaspersky Lab joined hands with Redington to distribute its wide portfolio of corporate security solutions across East Africa. The distributor will focus on expanding the market for Kaspersky’s remote security monitoring, managed security, virtualisation security to mobile device security and management solutions in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Ethiopia.

Riaan Badenhorst, GM at Kaspersky Lab Africa said, “Our partners and resellers need insight into our corporate product offering, and as such, we will also support Redington in the training required, to understand the realities of the cyberthreat market in East Africa, how this is evolving and what businesses need to do to ensure safety. As part of our partner programme, we will also provide our fast responding technical support and extra expertise when needed – ensuring that Redington have the support they need to also grow their business and sales.”

With this partnership under its belt, the security vendor hopes to tap into large opportunities presented by growing market for enterprise solutions in sync with their enterprise strategy for the East African market. To enable the channel, Redington will provide a dedicated team for Kaspersky Lab solutions in East Africa, and jointly both the companies will initiate programmes to educate partners about Kaspersky’s corporate product offerings.
