South African Security Distributor expands in Africa

Johannesburg based Intact Software Distribution, Security Distributor from South Africa expanding its reach in Africa with the opening up an office in Nairobi, Kenya to serve the East African market. Leading names in information security business such as Avira, Bitdefender, F-Secure, Kaspersky Lab, Avast, Iron Tree, Group IB, and Cybonet are part of its portfolio.

The distributor has picked up a industry expert, Nathan Wohoro to run its Kenya operations. Wohoro brings with him years of experience and in-depth market knowledge as well as the technical expertise in information security. He will be responsible for overseeing business development, and will work closely with local channel partners and end-users throughout Kenya, and the region as a whole.

Talking about the opening of its office in Nairobi that will service the East Africa region the CEO for Intact, Simon Campbell-Young said “this expansion into East Africa is part of the distributor’s ongoing growth strategy.
