AttackIQ launches AttackIQ Academy

AttackIQ, the leading independent vendor of breach and attack simulation solutions, announced the AttackIQ Academy. The AttackIQ Academy offers advanced cybersecurity training, modularized curriculum, and cyber range labs to partners, customers, and prospective customers. Cyber range labs offer a scalable, cloud-hosted infrastructure that will provide learners with virtual environments for realistic, hands-on cybersecurity labs and exercises.

“We’re excited to be the first Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) company to bring such a comprehensive and complete training experience together for our partners and customers,” said Carl Wright, Chief Commercial Officer of AttackIQ. “Our curriculum will include the essentials users need to operationalize MITRE ATT&CK for security control validation and leverage the power of our BAS platform. The AttackIQ Academy will also provide insight on many advanced topics such as executing a Threat Informed Defensive strategy by leveraging state of the art Department of Defense Purple Team doctrine. Because of our ability to rapidly terraform purpose built cyber ranges, we will provide students the ability to execute the industry’s most comprehensive library of MITRE ATT&CK tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and threat actors, including many cloud based attacks for GCP, Azure, and AWS.”

AttackIQ’s Academy will include entry-level through advanced courses on today’s cybersecurity landscape, MITRE ATT&CK, and the best practices to plan, deploy, and benefit from a BAS platform. Hands-on cyber ranges make the experience complete and give customers and partners the tools and skills they need to rapidly assess and deploy AttackIQ’s BAS platform in their environment. Participants will also be eligible for (ISC)2 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.

“AttackIQ Academy gives us the capabilities we need to help our customers operationalize MITRE ATT&CK and deliver the advanced capabilities needed to meet and defeat the advanced threats in our current environment,” said Matt Stamper, CISO & Executive Advisor of EVOTEK. “We are very pleased to be part of the AttackIQ Partner Program and look forward to taking advantage of the advanced training programs offered through the academy.”

For the AttackIQ Partner Community, online modules will include basics on go-to-market deployment and configuration of AttackIQ’s BAS platform, and the best practices necessary to fully configure security control performance assessment. Advanced classes will target specific defender techniques to operationalize MITRE ATT&CK to defend against new and emerging threats, and focus threat intelligence data into an actionable program that customers and partners can deploy.

Special training modules, such as Purple Team Enablement and Deployment, will be available in early May 2020. These training sessions will offer a unique opportunity to customers and partners to pivot their defensive strategies to better leverage MITRE ATT&CK with a BAS platform. Certifications will include those for sales, technology, professional services, and managed security service providers.
